Vibeke Rostorp is a Swedish Art Historian living in France. After her degree from the Ecole du Louvre in Paris, with a major in 19th and early 20th century art, she specialized in Nordic art. Her particular focus has been on the Scandinavian artists and their relationship to France at the fin-de-siècle. She gained her PhD from the Sorbonne Paris-IV university in December 2011 and her dissertation was published in 2013. Trilingual (Swedish, French and English) she works as an independent Art Historian. Röstorp regularly participates in international conferences and exhibitions. After curating an exhibition about Allan Österlind (1855-1938) for the musée George Sand in la Châtre, Vallée de la Creuse (summer 2016) and the exhibition on Anders Zorn (1860-1920) and France at the Zorn museum in Mora, Sweden (summer 2017) she is currently working on a French version of her book Zorn och Frankrike.
